Six Heights High School DECA members competed in this regional event. Four of the six students that participated earned the opportunity to compete in the state competitions in Columbus on March 18 and 19.

Heights High School students will advance to the State competitions:

Daisjonai “Daisy” Smith placed first in the competition area of Principles of Business Management and Administration.

Kalen Mahoney placed third in the competition area of Principles of Business Management and Administration.

Jayana Watson placed third in the competition area of Principles of Finance.

Tiarria Vauss placed third in the competition area of Principled of Hospitality and Tourism.

The student expenses will be paid for both State and National DECA because of a generous contribution from AT&T.
