Best of the Best Pen!
The Power of the Pen team excels at the regional tournament with one of the 7th grade team members from Roxboro Middle School winning the Best of the Best Award.
The Power of the Pen regional competition was held at Saint Joseph Academy in Cleveland on Saturday, March 14. Writers made it to this round by placing in the top 20% of competitors at the District tournament. Roxboro had six writers participate- 7th graders Sophie F, Madelyn S, Rajani T, and Emma H along with 8th graders Ashley D and Georgie J. Sophie won 2 Best of Best awards, the Joan Baker Award, and placed 10th overall.
