The District has begun the hiring process for the Director of Career/Technical Education & Partnerships.
The second round of interviews is slated for March 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Board of Education and is open to the community. The interview team will have selected two strong finalists; because selecting the right leadership for our students, staff and families is one of the most important decisions a school district can make, community members and students are encouraged to attend this interview.
If you would like to observe or participate on March 25, please arrive by 5:45 p.m. A group discussion will immediately follow the interviews. All input will be considered. A final selection will be made by Superintendent Dr. Talisa L. Dixon.
The responsibilities of the Director of CTE include, but are not limited to: administering the instruction program, encouraging program innovations, recruiting students, monitoring testing, pursuing funding opportunities, managing human resource activities, and creating a five-year strategic plan for CTE.
