FEDERAL PROGRAMS

for Federal Funds for Nonpublic Schools}

Nonpublic schools within the Cleveland Heights-University Heights (CH-UH) school district boundaries, and Nonpublic schools outside our boundaries serving eligible CH-UH students for Title I, receive allocations from federal programs including Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV and IDEA.

Federal funds are highly regulated by State and Federal governments.

Federal funds forms MUST be used and fully filled out by Nonpublic staff and reviewed by CH-UH for the allowable use of funds. CH-UH is designated as the schools’ fiscal agent and as such, required to monitor and report on all funds at designated reporting periods.

AUXILIARY (STATE) FUNDING

Requirements for Auxiliary Funds for Nonpublic Schools

Nonpublic schools within the Cleveland Heights-University Heights (CH-UH) school district boundaries receive Auxiliary funds from the State of Ohio based on each school’s ADM (Average Daily Membership). The funds are approved on the biennium - every two years with the state budget. Carryover is allowed in the first year while unspent funds are returned to the state after final reporting for the second year. The use of Auxiliary funds has been legislated by the State of Ohio for specific uses. The guidelines for use of funds can be found on the menu at right.
