Heights High Freshmen Cheerleading Tryouts, May 19-21

May 13, 2022 -- The Heights High Cheer team is hosting clinics and tryouts for incoming 9th graders for the Fall 2022 season. The 2-day clinic will introduce the basic arm motions and jumps, and teach sample cheers in preparation for tryouts on Saturday, May 21st, at 9:00 a.m.

May 11, 2022 -- Heights CTE Marketing Management students, Mariya Hudson and Faith Griffin-Hodge, earned the opportunity to attend and participate in the 2022 Emerging Leaders Series ASPIRE Academy in Atlanta, Georgia at the Mercedez Benz Stadium. The Academy aims to empower DECA members by providing effective leadership through goal setting, consensus building, and project implementation.

Heights High's Gay Student Alliance Participate in Day of Silence

May 4, 2022 -- Heights High's Gay Student Alliance (GSA) club participated in the Day of Silence to protest the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination against LGBTQ people in schools. They engaged in this silent demonstration by wearing "Day of Silence" stickers which provoked more students to want to participate as well.
