All About Homecoming

Tiger Nation’s 2014 Homecoming Parade and Football Game are on Friday, October 24 and the student dance is on Saturday, October 25. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Delisle Center parking lot and kickoff is at 7 p.m. After the parade, Tiger Nation will host a family tailgate party at Heights High. The Oct 25 student dance is in the Social Room, 7 – 10:30 p.m.

The Pep Rally

At the end of the day on Friday, October 24, students are invited to attend the Homecoming Pep Rally to recognize all Fall Sports teams and see staff and students compete in a surprise competition!

Tiger Nation Parade + Celebration

Starting at 4 p.m., the senior class will sponsor a Pre-Parade Gathering in the Delisle parking lot featuring snacks, beverages and Tiger Nation Spirit Accessories for sale - pom poms, tiger paw temporary tattoos and bumper stickers.

The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Delisle Center parking lot (14780 Superior Ave).

Following the parade, a family friendly tailgate party will take place in the Heights High parking lot. The event will include an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, arts and crafts and the Tiger will be available for photos. Concessions will be open and Tiger Nation gear will be for sale.

The Football Game

The Tigers will play Lorain High School, kick off is at 7 p.m. Student Council has declared a 'Black Out' for the game - requesting that all attendees wear black to show their Tiger Nation spirit. Students are welcome to sit in the Student Section and all seniors should wear their Senior Class Sweatshirts.

The halftime festivities will include the fabulous Heights High Marching Band and presentation of the Homecoming Court.

The Dance

The traditional Homecoming Dance will be held in the Social Room, October 25, 7 – 10:30 p.m. The event’s theme is New York – Rip the Runway. Light refreshments will be served, music provided by DJ Wolf. Coat/shoe check will be provided by the PTA, $1 per person.

A photographer will be available to take student portraits, please bring $10 cash to purchase this optional package. 

Ticket price: $20
Ticket Sale Location: Social Room, starting immediately after school, lasting for 45 minutes
Ticket Sale Dates:

Monday, October 20, tickets available for Seniors
Tuesday, October 21: tickets available for Juniors and Seniors
October 22-23: tickets available for all students

Students who purchase a ticket must also complete the Homecoming Agreement Form.

Seniors may bring a guest and must complete the Guest Permission Request Form.

All students will need an ID to enter the dance.

The Homecoming Pep Rally and Dance are sponsored and planned by the 20 member Student Council. These school leaders are guided by advisor Faith Gordon and plan activities for students that are fun, safe and promote Tiger Nation spirit.
