Superintendent Dr. Dixon commended the teachers, staff, volunteers and students at a school assembly and pep rally at Canterbury, November 25 for the school's recognition by the Ohio Dept. of Education for being a High Progress School of Honor.

The celebration included the Heights High Marching Band, an address by Canterbury Principal Dr. Erica Wigton and other speakers, recognizing the school for a job well done!
The Schools of Honor Program recognizes schools with a high percentage of students from an economically disadvantaged background that demonstrate sustained progress by all students in reading and math over a five-year time period. Only 27 other schools in the entire state earned this distinction.
