Jan. 11, 2016 – With the cold and snow finally beginning in Northeast Ohio, now is a good time for CH-UH parents to prepare for winter school closing notifications. To receive school closing notifications, it is important for parents to have correct contact information in their students’ Infinite Campus accounts.
Parents – please update your contact information in Infinite Campus. This will allow the District’s automated messaging system to quickly reach you, via phone, email and text, with school closing information.
To Receive Weather/Emergency Calls and Emails
Sign in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Under Contact Preferences in your account, include your phone number. The notification calls will also be sent as an email IF you provide your email address in the Parent Portal as well.
To Receive Weather/Emergency Text Messages
Sign in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Click on Family Members. Select your name and click Update. Enter or change your cell phone number. Once the cell number has been approved through Infinite Campus, you will receive a text message with instructions asking you to “opt-in”.

CH-UH will also notify local TV stations WKYC (NBC), WEWS (ABC), WOIO (CBS) and Fox8 with school closing information.
