The honorees were selected by colleagues at their respective buildings. CH-UH staff will vote to determine the four finalists for District Teacher of the Year and the four finalists for District Helping Hand of the Year. These finalists will then move on to a panel interview.

Typically, the overall District Teacher of the Year, Helping Hand of the Year, and Administrator of the Year would be announced at the Staff Awards Banquet in May. Sadly, due to this year’s circumstances, the event has been canceled. The planning committee has decided that the celebration and recognitions will instead happen at the 2020 Staff Convocation Day in August. We anticipate that by that time, our Tiger Nation family will be able to safely gather and celebrate together. CH-UH will also honor retirees and hand out Tiger Nation Awards to staff who presented at state or national conferences this past school year.
