Heights High Girls Basketball Tryouts Begin October 25
Oct. 18, 2019 -- The Heights High Girls basketball team invites girls in grades 9-12 who are interested in playing basketball to attend three practices and tryouts.
Head coach Karen Battle is looking to build on last year’s success that included the conference title, and a District Runner Up for Division 1.
She has several returning team members and is looking to add members to all of her teams - varsity, junior varsity and freshman.
“We have both strong and developing basketball talent here at Heights,” said Coach Battle. “And we are looking for team members who want to be part of a fun and exciting team, contribute to the team’s success and make us Tiger Nation proud!”
Coach Battle and her coaching staff will host three practices and tryouts for the upcoming season:
- Friday, October 25, 3:30 - 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 26, 10:00 a.m. - noon
- Monday, October 28, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
All practices/tryouts are held in the Competition Gym at Heights High.
“I invite all high school girls who are interested in basketball to come to the practices and see what we're all about,” continued Coach Battle.
