February 18, 2020 -- The Heights High Chinese Language program will present a 2020 Chinese New Year Celebration on February 21, 6:00 -8:00 p.m. The evening event will include a Chinese food dinner and student performances. 

The dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria and the price is $5 per person. It is a fundraising event to help support the May 18 Chinese language class field trip.

 

For families who are interested in attending the dinner, please complete this RSVP form so organizers know how much food to provide.

At 7:00 p.m., following the dinner, students will perform in the Auditorium; presentations will include song, dance, and martial arts.

The students will also host Chinese Culture tables showcasing fun activities in the cafeteria during lunch periods:
February 18: Chopsticks & Goldfish Games
February 19: Chinese 12 Zodiac Callagraphy
February 20: Coloring Beijing Opera Mask
February 21: Chinese Paper Cutting & Red Envelope

Student research and art projects are displayed in the Heights High School library January 31 - February 21.
