Feb. 4, 2019 -- National School Counseling Week 2019, "School Counselors: Providing Lessons for Life," will be celebrated from Feb. 4-8 to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems.

National School Counseling Week, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. National School Counseling Week is always celebrated the first full week in February.

Our CH-UH school counselors contribute to the lives of students each day. The K-12 school counseling team is meeting monthly and preparing a comprehensive counseling plan that embodies their new mission and vision:

Mission: The Cleveland Heights-University Heights School Counseling Program provides a proactive, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate program that addresses all students' academic, college and career, and social/emotional development through collaboration with stakeholders.

Vision: The vision of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School Counseling Program is for all students to become college and career ready. Every student will secure academic, career, and social/emotional skills to maximize their educational potential to become productive citizens in a global economy.
