Heights High Summer School Information From Guidance Team

Dear Heights High School parents and guardians,

Heights High Summer School is for students currently in grades 9 through 12 and is geared towards helping students earn initial credit or credit recovery courses needed for high school graduation or acceleration within the student's planned course of study. Please fill out this form to register for the 2024 CHHS Summer School Program.

Program Details:
  • Location: Cleveland Heights High School, students are to enter through the main entrance (Door 1).
  • Duration: 5 weeks, from June 10th to July 12th
    • No classes on June 19th and July 4th & 5th
  • Report Time: 8:00 AM for breakfast, with the first class starting at 8:15 a.m.
  • Classes for Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors will be on the 3rd floor rooms 303 through 322 (baseball field side). Class of ‘24 will have classes in room 105. 
  • Last class ends at 11:45 AM, followed by lunch
  • Cost per Semester Credit is $100, with a maximum cost of $200 per student.
High School Schedule:
Credit Recover Course #1 -- 8:15 - 9:55 a.m. (1 hour, 40 minutes)
Credit Recovery Course #2 -- 10:05 - 11:45 a.m. (1 hour, 40 minutes)
Lunch -- 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. (30 minutes)

Please note that during school hours, cell phones will not be permitted in order to minimize distractions and ensure a focused learning environment. We appreciate your support in reinforcing this policy with your student(s).

We understand that summer school represents a valuable opportunity for students to catch up, get ahead, or explore new interests, and we are here to ensure that every student maximizes their potential during their time with us.
