July 6, 2023 -- Ms. Kristin Riley has been officially named the Principal of Boulevard Elementary School, effective August 1, 2023.

Ms. Riley most recently served as the MTSS Specialist for the South Euclid-Lyndhurst School District. Prior to that, Ms. Riley worked in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District as a reading intervention teacher. She has also served as an assistant principal and in other school leadership roles in the Austin, Texas area.

“Ms. Riley is a collaborative and student-centered leader,” said Superintendent Liz Kirby. “We look forward to seeing her do great things for the Boulevard school community.”

Ms. Riley holds a Master of Education, Language and Literacy degree from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from The Ohio State University.

“Through restorative practice and culturally responsive strategies, I have become a passionate leader, student advocate, and community partner, and I am humbled by the opportunity to bring these experiences to Boulevard," said Riley.

Current principal Dr. Mike Jenkins is taking a new role as the District’s Director of Curriculum & Instruction.
