July 6, 2023 -- Dr. Andrea Walker has been officially named the Principal of Fairfax Elementary School, effective August 1, 2023.

Dr. Walker comes to CH-UH from Twinsburg City Schools, where she worked as the Director of Student Wellness for four years. Prior to that, she served the South Euclid-Lyndhurst School District for 17 years as a principal, an assistant principal and as a teacher.

“Dr. Walker is a service-driven and student-centered leader, and we look forward to seeing her take Fairfax to new heights,” said Superintendent Liz Kirby.

Dr. Walker holds a doctoral degree in education from Trevecca Nazarene University, a master’s degree in family studies from Kent State University, and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Kent State University.

“It’s my philosophy that serving in a leadership capacity is as great an honor as it is a responsibility,” said Dr. Walker. “I am truly honored to have the opportunity to bring my experiences and skillset to Fairfax.”
