About

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Early Childhood Program is a public preschool program licensed by the Ohio Department of Education. We have programs at Gearity Professional Development School, Noble Elementary School and Oxford Elementary School. All three programs have been rated 5-Stars through the state's Step Up to Quality process and are Universal Pre-Kindergarten sites. The program offers both integrated Half-Day and Full-Day options. Enrollment requirements vary depending on the classroom.

Full-Day Programs

The CH-UH Full-Day Preschool Program is offered at Gearity, Noble and Oxford elementary schools. Teachers utilize the Project Approach to infuse the Early Learning and Development standards into meaningful learning experiences. This curriculum is developmentally appropriate and involves children in studies of things nearby that interest them. Class size is limited to 16 children. Classes meet Monday through Friday from 8:50 a.m.-3:20 p.m.

Our program is currently seeking peer models ages 3-5 to participate in our Integrated Preschool Program.

Classes meet Tuesday-Friday and children either attend the morning or afternoon session for 3 hours. The curriculum utilized is AEPS which supports the individual needs of each child. The instruction and curriculum are developmentally appropriate and build on the strengths of each student while also supporting individual areas of need.
