Welcome to Roxboro Elementary School and to the 2023-2024 school year! We are excited to get this year started and are working hard as a staff to create an environment that is safe and ready to welcome students back.  Roxboro Elementary Staff are committed to working with our students on the skills needed to be successful and have continued our work this year around the three most important skills of being safe, respectful, and responsible.  We will reinforce these skills in the classroom and through our units of instruction.  Our teachers will also use the IB Learner Profile to help our students achieve success as they strive to be: inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced and reflective.  

It is impressive to see how supportive the Roxboro parents are and the support we receive from our PTA.  We will continue to provide support to families and will help families with their elementary experience. If there is anything you need during this time, please let us know!   

Our website is only one of our means of communication.  You can follow us on twitter @CHUHRoxEl to get updates on special events and see what our students are learning.  All parents are also emailed a newsletter, The Scoop, each week that includes important information and events that are happening.  Our PTA also communicates through weekly email reminders of events to families and a facebook page and webpage http://www.roxelpta.org/.
