Roxboro Middle School Baseball

At Roxboro Middle School we believe that participation in team sports is an important component of the social and emotional development of our students. We recognize the importance of athletics in developing the whole child, and believe that being part of a team is beneficial to the development of our adolescent students as they gain self-confidence, develop leadership skills, and forge new friendships.

The young men and women enrolled at Roxboro MS have numerous opportunities to participate in our athletic program. Each season offers several different opportunities for participating in team activities. Visit for more information.

The schools have access to tennis courts and outdoor fields for football, baseball, softball, field hockey, track, and soccer. We have two gymnasiums for our basketball, volleyball, and wrestling programs to use for practice and competitions. We are proud of our student-athletes both in the classroom and on the field. Please come join our students, parents, and staff as they cheer on our student athletes this year.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: While participating in athletics, students are reminded that doing so is a privilege, not a right. As student-athletes, academics take precedence over playing ability and should be the focus of a middle school experience. Please review the following:
  • Students must pass a minimum of 5 core .5 or 1.0 credit classes
  • A student who fails 2 or more courses is automatically INELIGIBLE
  • Summer school grades MAY NOT be used to substitute failing Quarter grades
