The CH-UH Community in Schools Task Force was created in April 2017 and includes 28 people, including district staff, community partners, and community members, in partnership with the United Way of Greater Cleveland. The task force is expected to bring a recommendation for the Board of Education by the end of the 2017-2018 school year.
Task Force Charge:
- Study the Community in Schools model and wraparound services model for the CH-UH community.
- Conduct a community partnership needs assessment.
- Analyze the model options in terms of capital cost, operating costs, educational benefit, and any other parameters the Task Force believes are relevant.
- Provide the Board of Education with input on variations to the option guided by the findings of the group.
