Meeting Overview
  • Superintendent Kirby shared updates on the past month’s work within the five goals of the District’s Strategic Plan. Also part of the Superintendent’s Report:
    • Dr. Mike Jenkins, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, delivered an overview of Summer 2024 programming plans.
    • Early Childhood Specialist Danielle Foran delivered an overview of the District’s preschool and pre-kindergarten programs.
    • Each month, the District showcases a school's PBIS initiatives through a short video. PBIS, or Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, is an important part of CH-UH Schools’ climate and culture. The PBIS School Spotlight for April is Roxboro Middle School.
  • Chief Financial Officer Scott Gainer delivered his “3 Things” report, a monthly initiative to educate the community on school funding. The 3 Things for April were:
