Registering your children in CH-UH has never been easier. Families can access our online registration portal
in the comfort of their own home. This online system will save you time at your registration appointment and ensure that the District has accurate, up-to-date information on your children.Step 1 -
Complete the Online Registration forms
at your convenience. For those who do not have a home computer or who would like assistance completing the onlines forms, please make an appointment with our Registration Department. We have a computer lab dedicated to new families, and our staff would be glad to assist you in the process.
Please note: The Online Registration Portal is only accessible via a laptop or desktop computer. The portal is currently unavailable on mobile devices and tablets.
Step 2 - Make an appointment with our Registration Department by calling (216) 371-7430. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Registration Department is located at the Deborah S. Delisle Educational Options Center, 14780 Superior Road, Cleveland Heights.
Please note, in order to complete the registration process for your student, you must schedule an in-person appointment to review your forms and documents.
Step 3 - Gather all of the necessary documents for your registration appointment. All documents must be presented at the time of your appointment to complete the enrollment process. Please review the specific registration and immunization requirements at the links below. There is a notary on site if needed.
On the Day of Your Appointment
Please arrive on time for your appointment at the Deborah S. Delisle Educational Options Center, 14780 Superior Road, Cleveland Heights. Please note:
- All required documentation and completed forms will be reviewed and collected.
- Your children DO NOT need to be present at the appointment.
- New families will be provided with important information and resources regarding our schools.
Who may register a child?
Only legal residents who are the parent or legal guardian of the child may complete the registration process. All certified court orders pertaining to guardianship and custody must be presented at the time of registration. Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District does not grant temporary enrollment (OCR 3313.64 E)
The Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District is tuition-free only for those students whose parents/legal guardians are residents of the school district. Residence for school purposes means that the parents/legal guardians of the student live within the school district seven days a week.
Which school will my child attend?
To find your child's school of attendance, you can enter your address into our interactive boundary map. You can confirm this information at your registration appointment or by calling the Registration Department at (216) 371-7430.
The District accepts applications for Intradistrict Open Enrollment in the spring each year. Click here for more information.
Eligibility - A child must be 5 years old by September 30 of the year they will attend school.
Early Entrance - An Early Entrance evaluation is available for children with birth dates between October 1 and December 31 of the year they will attend school, and who also demonstrate superior functioning in the areas of achievement or ability.
